Murphy’s Christmas Open Mic will be held Saturday Dec. 12th 6:15PM at Murphy’s Guitars at 133 N. Main Street.
The open mic is open to all students currently enrolled in lessons through teachers at Murphy’s Guitars in Bountiful, UT.
Murphy’s Guitars offers a monthly open mic night to students currently enrolled in lessons at the shop, or to any other students currently taking from one of our great teachers. Student Open Mic Nights normally take place on the 1st Wednesday of each month, but this December we’ve decided to offer a special Year End Holliday Open Mic where students will have an opportunity to share what they’ve been working hard on all year.
The public is welcome to come enjoy the festivities, and students families are welcome to come enjoy, take video, and watch a showcase of students at Murphy’s Guitars.
Christmas songs are not required to play, but are highly encouraged.
Students, Don’t miss out on an opportunity to showcase your hard work, and gain valuable performing experience! Maybe you’ve never performed for anyone before, what better format to break the ice than a format where you’re welcome to test the waters among fellow guitar students. It’s important to remember that everyone, no matter their skill level is still an active student of guitar, and is working to get better.
